JSB is an exploration rock band that explores 60's/70's rock classics, newer rock standards, funk, blues, original tunes, and more, all with the mindset of jazz, improvisation, and jam.  Classics from such varied bands as The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, and more, are reimagined into explorations and jams.  Newer tunes and calls from left field are mixed in to keep the sound fresh.  The trio is bred on blues, raised on rock, and trained in jazz, giving a unique take on improvisational music through a California lens.
